Thanks to BzzAgent & Welch’s, our family had the opportunity to try the Strawberry Raspberry flavor of Welch’s Refreshingly Simple and we #GotItFree!
The flavor we tried was good, but seemed overly sweetened. The drink has simple ingredients (just water, sugar, fruit juice concentrates, and citric acid). It is lower sugar than 100% juice and does taste refreshing. We loved that it didn’t have a bunch of additives or added sugar. We weren’t huge fans of the flavor. The preschooler said it was WAY too sweet & wanted lots of water in hers. Both my husband & I thought it tasted like grown up Kool Aid and liked it over lots of ice.
I think it would be great added to iced tea in the summer! Simple drinks on a hot summer day are the best! Welch’s Refreshingly Simple will make flavored iced tea a cinch! It would also be great frozen into ice cubes and used in sparkling water for a refreshing summer drink.
